How to apply

PYP1 applications are processed from November to February.
PYP 2 – MYP5 applications are processed from January to March.
(International applications are processed year-round)

Families are invited to attend an open house event or schedule a visit to learn about ISC’s program.

For the application process, please read the ISC Admissions Policy and follow the instructions below regarding the application and admissions process for your child/children.

For each application families are asked to provide:

  • Completed  Application for admission (pages 1-3)
  • Bank transfer confirmation for the one time nonrefundable application fee. ISC Bank account information here.
  • Signed  parents consent form  for the use of data at ISC
  • ONE recent passport-sized photos
  • Copy of child’s immunization records
  • Confidential Recommendation Form PYP1 or PYP2-MYP5 (Must be submitted directly to ISC by the recommender.)
  • Applicant Statement (only students applying for PYP 2-MYP5)
  • Parent Guardian Statement
  • Two full years of school transcripts or reports in English, German or Italian.  If transcripts or reports are in another language, they must be translated into English.  Pre-school or Kindergarten students may be exempt from this requirement.
  • A photocopy of the applicant’s and parents’ passport and visa (if applicable)

Mail all items of the application checklist to Rosentaler Strasse 15, 9220 Velden, Austria or e-mail scanned copies of all documents to admissions@isc.ac.at.

Submitting an application does not guarantee admission. A student may be admitted only if the application has been completed and reviewed positively and if a grade-level place is still available. ISC will contact families to schedule an interview, admissions test and visitation day.

The ISC Admissions Committee will meet by the beginning of February (for PYP 1) and end of March (PYP2-MYP5) to review all applicants and make admissions decisions based on the following criteria:

  • International profile of the student
  • Family members already attending ISC
  • Analysis of application materials, interview, tests and visitation day

Admissions Decisions

  • Offer of Admission
    The application was positively reviewed and there is a grade-level place available
  • Waitlist
    The application was positively reviewed but there is currently no grand-level
    place available. ISC will contact you if a place opens.
  • Denied
    The application does not meet grade-level standards and/or support programs
    are filled to maximum capacity
